Topic: Southern African Metallogeny with a Focus on GoldPresented by: Associate Professor Bjorn Von Der Heyden
Metallogeny is the study of how mineral deposits are formed and how they relate to regional geological features. Bjorn, who completed his PhD at Stellenbosch University, has extensive experience in the mining sector and academia. He now leads research projects and educates the next generation of African earth scientists.
