Pearly Beach Holiday Waste Collection
The Pearly Beach Drop-off will be open for four Wednesdays, namely 17, 24 and 31 December, as well as 7 January.
Key highlights from the Management Committee Meeting held on 22 November 2024 at the Angling Club:
• Water Update: Progress at Pearly Beach dam ensures more water availability thanks to improved pumping and filtration systems.
• Municipality Info Session: Public invited to learn about the Citizen Collaborator app at Gansbaai Chambers.
• Castle Beach: Blue Flag status confirmation is pending.
• Village Green: Preparations for December’s Conservancy function are underway, with recent lawn maintenance. However, the soak-away issue is being investigated.
• Safety Upgrade: A new streetlight has been requested near the entrance camera for added security.
