2024 came with challenges, but also progress!
The Pearly Beach Ratepayers’ Association held its management committee meeting on 24 April 2025.
Key takeaways:
• Current office bearers and portfolios will remain unchanged for 2025.
• A Conservancy representative will attend quarterly meetings instead of filling the vacant consultant role.
• Water tower upgrades are underway, and funds are allocated for the Well Point project.
• Flood damage on the B’Bos road has been repaired, but stormwater issues remain unresolved.
• New members were welcomed, and several subscriptions were paid at the AGM.
• No update yet on the rezoning of 9 Law Street and the liquor license application, over 100 objections have been submitted.
• A public meeting might be scheduled for June. Watch this space for details.
