Summary of the (PBRPA) October 2024 Meeting
The PBRPA management committee addressed key issues, including ongoing infrastructure concerns.
Herewith the new electricity tariff scale from 1 July 2021 till 30 June 2022:
0 - 350 units = R1.6636 (vat incl) per unit
350 Units = R582.26
351 - 600 units = R2.4926 (vat incl) per unit
250 units = R623.15
600+ units = R3.1239 (van incl) per unit
Indigent without free units are entitled to buy 450 units:
50 @ free
350 @ R1.6636 = R582.26 PLUS
100 @ R2.4926 = R249.26
Total = R831.52
*Rates are published in the Overstrand Municipality annual tariff list attached to the Budget document (go to www. overstrand.gov.za; click on the tab for Strategic Documents then Budget, scroll down to Annexure C (Rates and Tariffs)).
