What Is A Master Colour Expert? 

What is a master colour expert? A Master Colour Expert (MCE) is a title given to colourists once they have completed Wella's most intense colour programme. It involves applied science to the structure of a strand of hair and looks at how different colours affect it.

Being an MCE comes backed by intensive study and hands-on practical experience. The course covers intensive study about diet-related hair issues, hair growth and loss, and how and why hair turns grey. In-depth knowledge of hair colour and structure also gives the stylist a greater understanding of colour application. All this without compromising the condition of the client’s hair.
