Community Upliftment in Action at the Swop Shop!
Every week, the Swop Shop buzzes with excitement as around 120 children trade recyclable items for toys, stationery, and more. Their smiles, the clatter of trolley wheels, and the sound of counting echo the positive impact this initiative is making.
Thanks to volunteer Joe Lang, the container is now a vibrant, inviting space filled with colourful paintings, educational murals, and even a chalkboard for the kids to draw on.
Donations from kind-hearted individuals, like Belgian tourist Chris Vleugels and our volunteers, fill the shelves with treasures that make every visit special.
