Another Successful Recycle Swop Shop in Masakhane

We had another successful and busy afternoon yesterday (15 November 2022) at our Recycle Swop Shop with 117 children visiting us with their recycling!

Have you heard about our Recycle Swop Shop?

It is an initiative to motivate the children in our local community to recycle. They pick up and keep their recycling, bring it to our Swop Shop, receive ‘points’ for the amount of recycling they bring, and can then choose something from the shop. We stock stationary, school supplies, books, toys and toiletries for them to choose from. They then all get a cup of soup for their efforts.

Helping the community, educating and saving the world all at the same time!
