Overberg Fire and Rescue Women’s Team Champions 2026

The Overberg Fire & Rescue women’s team were crowned champions of the women’s division in the firefighter team challenges at the International Firefighters’ Day celebration on 9 May 2026.

The event brought together teams from across the region for a high-energy showdown of skill and endurance. From casualty carries and obstacle courses to tyre flips and PPE drills, every challenge tested teamwork, stamina, and readiness for real-world emergency responses.

It was strength, grit, and teamwork on full display as the winning team powered through every challenge, showing exactly what firefighting excellence looks like.
