Have you ever found yourself wondering what is wrong with you, why you keep messing up, or why you cannot seem to get out of a rut or turn your life around? These feelings often spread across different areas of your life, affecting your work, your relationships, and how you see yourself, until they slowly begin to shape your identity.

You may start to feel less than others, as if everyone else has things figured out except you, which leads you to withdraw, lose energy, and feel your motivation fade. Over time, the weight grows heavier because you are no longer just feeling these thoughts but beginning to believe them, telling yourself that you are not good enough, that you are lazy, or that you always mess things up. However, the truth is that there is nothing inherently wrong with you; from a psychological and neurological perspective, what you are experiencing is overload, emotional exhaustion, and mental fatigue from a system that has been running too long without rest.

In response, your mind and body try to cope by avoiding discomfort through habits like scrolling, sleeping, or disconnecting, not because you are weak but because you are trying to feel less. As this continues, you become increasingly disconnected from yourself, your energy, your clarity, and the things that bring you joy, until even happiness starts to feel unfamiliar. The real issue is not that something is wrong with you, but that you have lost connection with what nourishes you, gives you meaning, and reflects who you truly are, causing you to live from patterns rather than truth.

The question then shifts from asking what is wrong with you to asking what you need to reconnect with, because your joy, love, and sense of purpose are not gone, they are simply not being accessed. The work lies in recognizing your patterns, understanding what you are avoiding, and gradually reconnecting with what fuels you, allowing you to return to yourself and rediscover who you truly are.
