LEAVING THE NARCISSIST: YOUR STORY DOES NOT E...
Have you spent years putting someone else first, questioning your own reality, and slowly losing sight of the person you used to be?

Narcissistic abuse relies on you losing your self-worth.

Are you the one who always tries to understand?
They're tired. Work is stressful. They work hard. They had a difficult childhood.
You find reasons for their behaviour. You compromise, make allowances and put your own needs aside because you want to keep the peace.
But somewhere along the way, something changes.
Your needs are dismissed. Your desires are diminished. Your concerns are turned around until you find yourself comforting them instead of being heard.
You become so understanding of their struggles that you begin to lose sight of your own.
And the price of keeping the peace? A growing war within yourself.
Your empathy is not a weakness. Your willingness to understand is not a flaw. But understanding another person's pain does not mean you must accept behaviour that hurts you.
Your worth belongs to you. You do not have to earn it by pleasing someone else, sacrificing your needs or proving how understanding you can be.
Your worth is reflected in how you honour yourself, recognise your needs, pursue your dreams and establish boundaries that protect your wellbeing.
YOUR STEP TODAY: DEFINE YOUR WORTH.
Take a moment to reflect and write down your answers:
• What does being worthy mean to me?
• What does respect look like in my relationships?
• How do I want to feel in the presence of someone I love?
• Which needs and desires have I been dismissing to keep the peace?
• What boundary would help me honour myself today?
Don't write what you think someone else expects of you. Write what feels honest and true for you.
You may have spent years making room for someone else's needs. Now, begin making room for your own.
You are allowed to say no. You are allowed to have dreams. You are allowed to expect mutual respect. And you are allowed to walk away from situations where your well-being is continually compromised.
You do not need someone else's permission to recognise your worth.
Your journey back to yourself begins when you stop abandoning who you are to keep someone else comfortable.
You were worthy before you ever entered that relationship. You remain worthy today.

There is a longing inside of you waiting to break through to the surface. It is the true you calling.
Your anger never came as punishment.
Perhaps you've said them about your anger.
