Breakfast Spots in Betty’s Bay

There is no better way to start the day than with gratitude and a nourishing breakfast.

If you are in Betty’s Bay for your first meal of the day, you can enjoy breakfast in a scenic environment with the ocean and mountains as your backdrop.

Whether you are a local supporting your favourite place to eat, a traveller filling up before you explore the botanical garden or a biker out on a Sunday morning ride, breakfast is always something special in this tranquil part of the world!

On the Edge Restaurant

On the Edge is a non-profit restaurant next to the Stony Point Nature Reserve open for breakfast, lunch and private functions. The restaurant is part of a project funded by the National Department of Tourism through the Expand Public Works Program.

Breakfast is from 09:00 am until 11:30, and the generous menu has a delicious selection.

Go large with a Colony Breakfast, including eggs done the way you like them, bacon, pork sausage, grilled tomato, beans, mushrooms, chips and toast. If this massive farmhouse fry-up sounds a little ambitious, a selection of omelettes and waffles will hit the spot. Remember to wash it all down with your complimentary fruit juice.

There are mini breakfast dishes for the little ones, making this a family-friendly eatery!

Seabiscuit

Seabiscuit is a coffee shop-bistro on Clarence Drive, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

If you love world food, robust coffee and good company, this is the place to enjoy your morning feast.

From the Captain of all English breakfasts to exotic dishes like Mexican sweet-corn and jalapeño fritters, buttermilk flapjacks and French toast, you might decide breakfast should spill over into lunch.

Jack’s Restaurant and B&B

Jack’s is set alongside Clarence Drive and has dreamy views of the mountains, and the sea.

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, this cosy establishment is the perfect place to start the day.

The breakfast menu includes a range of traditional breakfast dishes, buttery croissants with different fillings and a few surprise sweet treats.
