How Print and Online Work Together
The Overberg is far more than a celebrated nature destination.
There is no better feeling for an Xplorio team member than waking up in the morning knowing that the brand-new day meant it was time for Xplorio to host its first community presentation in Betty’s Bay. And on the 29th of August 2018, each Xplorio team member shared that exciting feeling.
The venue was On The Edge Restaurant, a community owned restaurant whose profits go right back into uplifting the youth of the Mooiuitsig community. The restaurant is situated right next to Stony Point Nature Reserve in Betty’s Bay, home to one of the world’s largest breeding colonies of African Penguin, and if the presentation didn’t get the attendees excited enough, the smallest member of the Marine Big Five did.
The spacious venue allowed Xplorio to have one of the largest community presentations to date and it was an astounding sight to see. Business owners and community leaders from Betty’s Bay streamed into the function area of On The Edge Restaurant, and after a bit mingling, sat down to learn how Xplorio is able to help them boost their businesses and local establishments by creating and giving them complete control of their very own cutting-edge, up-to-date and inspiring mini-website.
The Xplorio team was met with the same joy and laughter that can be felt at every Xplorio Community Presentation as director, Sanja Lutzeyer, shared Xplorio Betty’s Bay vision of taking back control of how their establishments and town are represented online.
