Arniston Weather

The coastal village of Arniston hidden at the tip of Africa, serves as a great breakaway with its mild Mediterranean climate. 

Arniston is known as a great spot for various outdoor activities like surfing, swimming and dune-surfing, mostly due to its warm, sunny summers. Midday temperatures reach an average of 25°C in summer months and lends to the perfect days for soaking up the sun on the white sandy beaches. Rainfall mainly occurs in winter months with temperatures dropping to an average 17°C. The needed rains in the winter bring forth a burst of colour in the spring months when the surrounding landscapes turn lush with vegetation. The lush vegetation also brings forth all manner of wildlife to be viewed in the following summer months in the surrounding nature reserves.

Arniston’s warm summers make for days spent in the great outdoors and soaking up the sun while the cooler winters allow for cozying up indoors.
