Step into a Grassroots Soccer Lesson with Grootbos Foundation! Our coaches use sports and games to teach learners about HIV/AIDS in a way that's easy to understand.
In these lessons, students learn how the virus affects the immune system and why taking Antiretroviral drugs (ARVs) is important. They also learn about the immune system's job of protecting the body.
During one game, participants see how HIV attacks the immune system when there are no ARVs. They also learn how ARVs help keep HIV in check, giving the immune system a chance to fight back.
At Grootbos Foundation, we're dedicated to giving communities the knowledge and tools they need to fight HIV/AIDS.
