Grootbos Foundation Bioblitz in Hemel-en-Aarde Valley

Last week, our Conservation Research Unit conducted a rapid survey bioblitz in the beautiful Hemel-en-Aarde Valley.

This raucous toad frog might look a bit put out at being discovered, but rest assured, no creatures are harmed during bioblitzes. These events help us record biodiversity and ignite interest and passion for conservation among landowners.

Each landowner receives a comprehensive report, species list, and land management recommendations from our dedicated team.

Together, we can protect and preserve our natural heritage.
