Breathtaking Winter Views Across Grootbos and...
The parting shot this week is actually in two parts taken across the landscape today, which was a glorious winter's day.
Meet Sakhe Tshayela, a 12-year-old from Stanford who’s about to represent South Africa at the Canoeing President’s Cup in Azerbaijan on the Caspian Sea!
He flies out this Sunday with a team of young SA sprint paddlers, carrying the hearts and hopes of his family, friends, and the entire Stanford canoeing community. Sakhe is a true Rising Star, and we’re so excited to see how this amazing journey shapes his future.
A huge thank you to his coaches and the wonderful support from the Stanford Canoe Club committee who made this dream possible.
We’ll be sharing updates on Sakhe and the rest of the SA team, stay tuned!
Go Sakhe, go!
