A Wild Start to the Day: Leopard Spotted
This morning, our reserve manager received an exciting camera trap alert of a leopard sighting.
We’ve started moving the spectacular Grootbos insect collection into brand-new cabinets - specially designed to keep our pinned specimens safe and sound.
Why the upgrade? Well, some six-legged critters have a habit of nibbling on collections like this, and we want to make sure our insects stay protected for future research, education, and conservation work.
