Empowering Youth in Gansbaai!

Last week, our Grootbos Enterprise Team hosted a 3-day Employability Workshop for 32 motivated young people in Gansbaai.

Transitioning from school to the world of work can be tough, but these participants showed up with enthusiasm, curiosity, and a hunger to grow.

Over the course of the workshop, they gained valuable skills, built confidence, and learned how to present themselves professionally through CVs and cover letters.

What’s next?

These eager-to-work youth are now preparing for real interviews with local businesses. Those selected will embark on 2 weeks of paid workplace experience, often the first step toward long-term employment.

This is what empowerment looks like.
