A Wild Start to the Day: Leopard Spotted
This morning, our reserve manager received an exciting camera trap alert of a leopard sighting.
This image was captured on the beautiful Grootbos Private Nature Reserve over the past week.
Here you see a bee pollinating the iconic Erica irregularis, a rare fynbos species that blankets the slopes of the reserve in a stunning pink display each spring.
Moments like these remind us of the delicate balance of nature and the vital role pollinators play in keeping our ecosystems thriving.
