This week has been hot in the Overberg, presenting the perfect opportunity to kick off water safety lessons with grade 1s. What looks and feels like pure fun for these young children is actually a series of lessons that allow them to master the skill of water safety, a life-saving skill in an area with a long coastline and a long summer.
