Gansbaai Canoeing Team Shines at SA Schools Sprints Championships

The canoeing team has made it all the way to Roodeplaat where they have started racing in the SA Schools Sprints Championships! They are excited to be there and we are equally excited for them. 

We will be able to share the full list of results next week but for now, these are the results of the first few heats:

Bubuntu has placed 1st in the Under 14B final at his first SA Sprints Championships

Sakhe placed 2nd in the 1000m A final - an incredible achievement for this strong young man who started paddling for the first time in 2025 and has already represented his country in Azerbaijan

CJ and Hayward came 3rd in the Under 23 K2 final๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ These 2 young men are ambassadors for the sport and represent how hard work and dedication can change the direction of their lives. Hayward has become one of the canoeing junior coaches.
