At Qhayiya Secondary, a focused class of Gr12s spend time planning their career pathways - often something that doesn't get much attention because of the normal pressures associated with being in the final year of school. The Gr 12 Careers Programme includes planning and goal setting in and after matric. Studying, training, working, starting or running a business, volunteering, taking a gap year - the options can be overwhelming. The Grootbos Foundation team helps these grade 12s consider their options and stay focussed on the long run.
