The Under 16 and Under 18 Boland Female Rugby Trials were recently held at the Spaces4Sports field. Female rugby continues to grow in popularity in the area, as well as nationally and internationally, with more girls and young women throwing themselves full-speed into this exciting sport.
Rugby isn’t only for boys. It is a vibrant and dynamic game that celebrates versatility, strength, speed, and stamina.
Grootbos Foundation’s female rugby team is at the forefront of this movement, and we are incredibly proud of the girls and coaches who use the sport to develop and empower young female leaders who are making their mark among their peers.
