The Entrepreneurs have completed their financial training workshop.

Our conversation team was out on the Grootbos Reserve conducting a rapid survey caller a bioblitz and assessing invasive plant density. Bioblitzes help us understand the biodiversity found on the properties surrounding Grootbos. Arno (seen on the left), local Walker Bay Fynbos Conservancy Manager, uses the invasive plant density assessments to develop management plans that assist property managers in controlling invasive species and protecting local biodiversity. While they were out there, they discovered these beauties called Pleurotus overstrandensis. It is a tasty oyster mushroom which is a species found in the strandveld. Remember, if you don't know your mushrooms, don't take a chance and eat something that might be toxic.
