Today's update from Grootbos Foundation is from the Employability Team which delivered a series of workshops in Hermanus specially designed to help unemployed youths navigate the pathway to successful employment. When youths have completed their school education and are desperate to begin working and to develop their careers, they often risk losing hope if they can't find an open doorway into the world of work. Developing confidence, professionalism, basic money skills and experience from actually going through an interview process and experiencing 2 weeks of work in a real workplace is often all they need to step through the doorway.
Personal mentorship for confidence makes a huge difference and this is what the Grootbos Foundation Employability Team delivers!
Youth unemployment is real and we can confirm that over 900 young people applied to join the Employability Workshops delivered in Gansbaai, Stanford and Hermanus this year.

Ready to work!
