We are excited to share this video created by the 1KSA/Diplomics team, who are involved in an ambitious project to sequence the genomes of 1,000 unique animals, plants, and fungi found within South Africa. One of the plants nominated was the White Milkwood, Sideroxylon inerme. This is the tree and forest that have given Grootbos its name.
