Gansbaai U13 Soccer and Netball Tournament Tackles GBV
The Grootbos Foundation coaches managed a U13 soccer and netball tournament at Spaces4Sport with 5 local primary schools' teams, which was fully sponsored by Build-it Gansbaai.
The theme of the tournament, led by the Grootbos coaches, was to address the issue of Gender Based Violence in South Africa. Open discussion about this topic with each team while they were off the field will go a long way to break the cycle, break the silence and break the acceptance.
