International sustainability expert, journalist and thought leader, Juliet Kinsman, spent a morning with the Green Futures students helping them to play with language and communication skills in order to develop their own mini biographic descriptions that they can use to search for employment or their next opportunity after they graduate from the Grootbos programme. Juliet's session inspired and encouraged the students to stand out from the crowd, avoid AI descriptions that make everyone sound the same, and identify their most unique characteristics. What a great opportunity for learning!

The Entrepreneurship team delivered a financial life skills workshop this week with the Green Futures students so that one of the tools in their tool belt for the world of work is how to manage a small business. Understanding personal finance and our relationship with money is a life skill that can be learnt and mastered.
Here is a link to Juliet Kinsman's reflection on her time with the students this week.
