2020 Membership Price Increase

We are super excited about the new year and we have numerous surprises over the course of the next few months that we can't wait to share with you. We've grown from strength to strength over the last year and made a lot of changes to the gym, as seen in the photos. We started by adding a sliding door to Studio A for more flow in the gym, as well as mood lights in our Spinning Studio. We closed up the balcony and this extended the floor space with an additional 50 square meters, we added additional classes such as the Pin load express, ABC PM Classes, Yoga, additional spinning and additional stretching classes. We introduced the incredible MYZONE Technology into the gym as we are proud to announce that Health and Active is now going for a second year as one of the first Gyms in South Africa as a registered MYZONE facility!
We had incredible equipment upgrades and brought in some amazing new equipment such as the 7 pin load and cable machines, the Curve Runner (Air Treadmill), power core wall balls, more and Heavier dumbbells, more Olympic bars and rubber plates, two incline adjustable benches as well as new TRX (suspension training ropes).
We are extremely excited that there is a lot to follow over the next few months and here is a list of what to expect.
1. NEW EQUIPMENT!
We will be getting numerous new equipment, mainly cardiovascular machines such as more Ellipticals, an additional Ski Erk as well as an additional curve runner and possible Air bike,
2. UPDATED STUDIOS!
We already started repainting the gym and this is the fundamentals for amazing new upgrades for both our studios such as Air conditioning, more mood lighting to enhance the look and feel of our club as we are aiming for a new theme in our studios of gym meets night club feel. All to create an over the top endorphin rush and experience when attending our classes, helping you to push harder and have fun whilst doing so.
3. COFFEE IS YOUR FRIEND!
We are extremely excited about our plans for a smoothie and coffee bar that’s finally been approved.
4. TOP SECRET!
Some additional changes and happenings that we just can’t mention as yet, but keep a lookout for what is to come!
We as Health and Active would like to take this opportunity to also inform you of an annual membership fee escalation in the new financial year starting 1 March 2020. All new and existing memberships will increase with 5% which brings us to the new membership fees as seen below:
Member Type - Current Membership Fee - 5% Increase (new membership fee)
- Adult Member - R330.00 - R346.00 (R16.00)
- Family Package - R275.00 - R289.00 (R14.00)
- Pensioner / Scholar - R220.00 - R231.00 (R11.00)
- Classes - R330.00 - R346.00 (R16.00)
LASTLY, all of these changes, growth and upgrades would not have been possible without each and every of our members, all of this was for the members, because of the members, and we want to thank you for being a part of our journey and being part of the Health and Active Family!
Please note that these new prices will automatically increase and the first debit order for the new prices will be the 1st of March 2020.
