Gansie Eisteddfod Festival 2026 A Celebration of Young Talent

From 27 to 30 July 2026 learners from Grade R to Grade 7 will have the exciting opportunity to showcase their creativity and talent at the Gansie Eisteddfod Festival. Hosted by Laerskool Gansbaai this vibrant event celebrates the arts in all its forms bringing together language music performance and visual creativity.

What is the Eisteddfod

An Eisteddfod is a festival of the arts where participants perform or present their work in front of judges. It encourages confidence self expression and a love for the arts while giving learners a platform to shine.

Participants can choose from a wide variety of categories in both Afrikaans and English:
