"Absolutely incredible! Saw penguins, stingrays, White and Bronze whaler sharks!" - Vanessa
"Exceeded our expectations, awesome tour guides and crew members!" - Ken Chan and Jessica Lee
Location: Gansbaai, South Africa
Dive site: Joubertsdam
Water temp: Moderate
Visibility: Moderate
Sightings: Great White Shark, Bronze Whaler Sharks, African Penguins, Cape Fur Seal, Short-tail Stingray
Trip Summary: Our divers had an awesome start to the day! A couple of minutes after launching from Kleinbaai Harbor we encountered a raft of African Penguins in the water. The Penguins were super interested in our boat as well as in our divers and came super close to check us all out! On our dive site, the Bronze Whaler sharks were active and stayed around for the entire trip! A sneaky white shark made its way toward the boat and made several passes in front of the cage. Is that all we got to see today you might ask? The answer is no, a Cape fur seal found its way to the boat, and three Short-tail stingrays could not get enough of our divers in the cage. What a successful day!
