Location: Gansbaai, South Africa
Dive site: Joubertsdam
Water temp: Moderate
Visibility: Moderate
Sightings: Bronze whaler shark + Cape fur seal, African penguins + Broadnose sevengill shark
Summary: A windy departure from Kleinbaai Harbour made for an adventurous trip towards our dive site. Despite the chop and spray, a quick arrival of our first Bronze whaler sharks had divers in their wetsuits in record time! With consistent activity and better visibility, divers got to see these sharks in their full capacity. For the second trip, we got lucky to see another shark species the Broadnose sevengill shark! Thank you to all who joined us on board, it was a pleasure having you dive with us!
