Water temp: Moderate
Visibility: Poor-Moderate
Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Short-tail Stingrays, African penguins + Cape fur seal
Summary: What a day it turned out to be here in Gansbaai! With improving visibility and declining wind, guests were wowed with beautiful wildlife sightings. The Bronze whaler sharks exhibited their impressive schooling behavior, joined by 3 Short-tail stingrays who actively pursued bait lines, giving the sharks a run for their money! Our second trip were also lucky enough to witness a raft of the endangered African penguins, consisting of adults and a few juveniles. Thank you to everyone who joined us on board Slashfin today, it was a pleasure sharing our wildlife with you!

What a beautiful day out on sea.
Overcast skies but calm conditions awaited as Slashfin launched from Kleinbaai Harbour.
We had a wonderful day out in the ocean today, filled with nothing but marine life.
