• Final 2024 OGG Presentation (7 November): John Bristow will share his experiences as a geologist in Russia. The event will be hosted at Onrus Manor (Hermanus) and on Zoom.
• Successful Bot/Klein River Estuary Excursion: A well-attended field trip on 19 October with over 30 participants, including a diverse group of geologists, hydrogeologists, and scholars.
• Upcoming 2025 OGG Presentations: Exciting topics for early 2025 have been confirmed, featuring international speakers covering diamond mining, gold studies, and fluid dynamics in metamorphic rocks.
