OGG welcomes members to 2026 with a strong programme of talks, breakfast meetings and Zoom presentations running from February to April.
Here’s what’s been happening and what’s coming up for OGG members and friends:
Robertson-Montagu GeoExcursion - A big thank you to everyone who joined us for this exciting and educational weekend. Great turnout, great scenery, and plenty of geological insights shared.
Collaboration is Growing - Our efforts to connect with conservationists, ecologists, and educators are going strong. We’re working to break down barriers and share knowledge across fields.
Youth and Public Outreach - OGG’s programs for scholars and non-geologists are getting a lot of positive attention.
Upcoming Talks and Events - From wildlife conservation to environmental economics, there’s a strong lineup of monthly presentations (in-person + Zoom).
Excursion Alert - A visit to the De Kelders Caves is coming up on 30 August - don’t miss it!
A reminder: Annual subs (R250) are due - thank you to those who’ve already paid.
