“Saxon Lodge is an awesome place. The lodge is in a great location, and the owners serve a delicious breakfast.”  Jola S
“My boyfriend and I had a very short stay at Saxon Lodge in Gansbaai when we visited to see the sharks! We felt welcomed by everyone, especially Lulu the dog (we had been missing our dog, so having a lodge dog was the cherry on top of our stay). It was a beautiful place and provided a delicious breakfast, and we couldn’t stop saying how homely it felt. They also arranged our shark trip for us, including transfers from the lodge! It was in a great location, only a short walk from the lovely local restaurants and the sea. We felt very safe and would 100% recommend staying there if you are heading to Gansbaai.”  Charlotte Guy
“A beautiful and relaxed setting right by the ocean. A definite new home away from home. Caron and Dave were the most perfect welcoming hosts you could ask for. Saxon Lodge is everything you look for in a getaway. Great bar too!”  Zahra Robertson
“Saxon Lodge has the most welcoming owners and the cooking is superb!”  Deidre Mouton
“From the moment we placed our inquiry, we were made to feel very comfortable and welcome at Saxon Lodge. We had great hosts who were very attentive. The rooms are well-appointed and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and the coffee was great! Our hosts, Caron and Dave, were happy to assist us with dinner reservations and bookings for a fishing trip. They also supplied us with information about all the places of interest in the area. The staff were friendly, and the buffet breakfast was delicious.”  Rachael May
