Next up is the Gansbaai Harbour. A popular for photography, surfing, watching the tide roll in as well as the local fishing boats coming in from a long day at sea, the Gansbaai Harbour will be another hotspot for festival-goers. The Harbour will play host to a number of craft and food stalls, more live music, fynbos talks and journey displays, the Cropped Competition and also a Fish Braai Competition.
The Funky Fynbos MTB Race kicks off

This will be the host of all the sports events of this year’s event, including the Funky Fynbos MTB Race, the Funky Fynbos Trail Run and the Funky Fynbos Bass Challenge. This year there is also the added Funky Fynbos ‘Ironman’ and ‘Ironwoman’ Duo Challenge where participants can take part in both the trail run and mountain biking race to really test their endurance.
