7 Days to Christmas: Start with Love

Start by being what you want to see in your family.

We first have to be love to receive love. If you are irritable, judgmental, and impatient, how must your family love you, be kind to you, and be inviting?

It all starts with us. We often unconsciously act, not being aware of our actions. And those actions scream emotional walls, disconnect, and fear. Our family, however pick up on those and act accordingly.

What if this holiday you sit back and watch how they like to love. We each show our love differently. What would happen if you just observed your family and started loving them? It is okay that Dad wants you to take time and sit with him - that is how he knows you love him. It is fine that the brother-in-law wants to play games; that is how he experiences love because those games in his youth resonate with love and fun. It is okay if your sister wants to walk with you in the morning; nature calms her, and she can be completely with you.

What if you show your love for them by understanding how they will recognise it?
