Directions from Cape Town
Get onto Settlers Way / N2 from Borcherds Quarry Road. Follow the N2 for about 211 kilometers, passing through Botriver, Caledon and Swellendam. Turn left onto the R324 and pass though Suurbraak. Continue on the R324 which will take you over Tradouw’s Pass. Turn right at the T-junction and onto Route 62. Continue for a few kilometers before turning right again into Van Riebeeck Street, the main road in Barrydale.
Alternatively, take the R300 / Bellville off-ramp off the N2 to get onto the N1 highway towards Paarl / Worcester. After approximately 87 kilometers, turn right onto the R60/Robertson Road and stay on the R60 until you reach Route 62. Route 62 runs through Barrydale.
Directions from Garden Route
From George Airport, merge onto the N2 from the R404. Follow the N2 for approximately 150 kilometers, passing through Mossel Bay and Riversdale. When you reach Heidelberg, continue straight onto the R322. After approximately 28 kilometers, turn right onto the R324 and continue over the Tradouw Pass to Barrydale.
