Luxurious Chanteclair Residence

Location: Chanteclair, Hermanus, Western Cape, South Africa

Type of Project: Residential

Size and Scope: 394.367 m²

Status: Ongoing

The Vision:

This residential project is designed to bring modern luxury to the beautiful Chanteclair area in Hermanus. While the house maintains a rather simple shape, the true beauty lies in its stunning finishes. One of the standout features is the open-plan kitchen and living room that seamlessly extends to a spacious balcony, offering an elegant yet functional space for entertainment and relaxation.

Design Elements & Features:

Architectural Style: Modern

Materials & Textures: Utilizes the innovative KWIKFRAME building system, which contributes to the sleek and contemporary feel.

Standout Features: Large windows flood the interior with natural light, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere while also providing breathtaking views of the nearby mountains.

Overcoming Challenges:

One of the primary challenges for this project was the steep fall in topography at the site. We addressed this by incorporating retaining walls, creating a beautifully landscaped front garden, and enhancing the home's overall aesthetic.
