Companies such as the renowned marine conservationists, Marine Dynamics in Gansbaai and The Whale Unit in Hermanus, host various projects and programmes that involve everything from sponsoring a penguin to adopting a whale. Added to this, these organisations are proactive about educating our youth and the general public to create awareness about the fragile state of our marine environment. Together with the public, they work on ongoing incentives to preserve and protect our oceans and the landscape around them.
