Alert Level 3 Lockdown

On 24 May 2020 President Cyril Ramaphosa announced that South Africa will move to Alert Level 3 from 1 June. He highlighted a number of #COVID19 hotspots in the country - and included the Overberg among them. These are areas with #Coronavirus infections of more than 5 infected people for every 100,000 people, or where infections are rising rapidly. These hotspots will receive additional healthcare resources in the coming weeks, which can be deployed to further protect our #Overberg population.

We are now waiting to hear more from the national and provincial government on the move to Level 3, and what this, as well as our hotspot status, means for the Overberg. And we’ll provide you with the details once we have been fully briefed.
