Travelling through the Overberg and heading towards the north-eastern corner of the map, you’ll discover the Klein Karoo town of Barrydale. Located on the famous Route 62 of South Africa, this busy little town offers visitors a unique taste of both the Overberg and the Klein Karoo.
Home to the very popular Karoo Art Hotel and Ronnie’s Sex Shop, the area also holds a stunning variety of endemic fauna and flora which can be viewed and experienced through the winding walking trails in the area. The town also holds a variety of quirky eateries and award-winning tasting venues to be enjoyed along with the cosy lodgings and relaxing at the Warmwaterberg Hot Springs. The beautiful landscapes and rustic ambience has also given way to a growing list of events being hosted in and around the town.
