Duty crew of NSRI (National Sea Rescue Institute) at Hermanus, launched the Sea Rescue crafts, JayTee III and South Star, on Wednesday, 11th January, following reports of a small boat with 2 men oboard in difficulty with motor mechanical failure offshore of Franskraal, Kleinbaai.
On their arrival on the scene a local crew on a rubberduck had taken the small boat under tow and they were towed to Kleinbaai harbour without incident.
NSRI stood by until they were safely ashore and no further assistance was required.
