“We can change the world and make it a better place. It is in your hands to make a difference.” Nelson Mandela
What are your plans to make a difference for 67 Minutes on Mandela Day 2017?
The Gansbaai Tourism Bureau has great things planned and they invite our readers to be part of and support this initiative:
“Support A BARC Dog” - Donate 30 minutes of your time and join the team at the BARC kennels at 10h00 on Tuesday morning 18 July 2017 when they will make neglected furry hearts happy by sharing much needed love and attention to these shelter animals.
Food and Blanket Drive - Alternatively donate food, blankets or toys for these animals and drop it off at the Tourism Bureau by 17 July.
“Our Youth, Our Future” - Donate stationery, non-perishable food or toys. Let’s make a difference in lives that truly need it.
This will be given to the crèches or organizations in the Gansbaai area such as the Rainbow Kids.
You are invited to join us at 12:00 at the Tourism Bureau to distribute the donations.
“Plant a tree to light up a life” - Plants and trees give life - now let it light up a life. Donate a plant that will be planted at some of the crèches in Masakhane.
We will be leaving from the bureau at 14h00 to go and plant them and all hands are welcome.
