Exciting updates from PROactive Fitness: Johan Kruger, renowned strength and conditioning coach, recently mentored and guided four talented local powerlifting athletes in the 2024 WP Dominator Contest in Cape Town this past weekend. This event served as an official Western Province qualifier for the SA Champs.
Here are the remarkable achievements of our athletes:
Attie Voges, Precious Jambo, and Angelique Hamman have all successfully qualified for the SA Championships, showcasing their exceptional talent.
Although Dian Smit narrowly missed out on a spot, his dedication and performance were commendable.
Here are their impressive lifting results:
• Precious achieved a 170kg Bench Press, along with a 170kg Squat and a 200kg Deadlift.
• Attie set a new SA Masters Bench Press record at 170kg.
• Angelique demonstrated her strength with a 50kg Bench Press, 75kg Squat, and 100kg Deadlift.
• Dian showcased his prowess with a 120kg Bench Press, 140kg Squat, and 190kg Deadlift.
