Proactive Fitness are WAY ahead of any other gym in the country with our hygiene protocols and we will NOT EVER allow anyone to enter our business until they have first been sanitized and without a hand towel at the reception! I have sourced alcohol-based hand and equipment spray which we are busy decanting and placing in strategic places throughout the gym. We have 6 full-time staff members including Alex who will hand his cleaning kit over to Emmanuel & vice versa every single day in order to combat all germs in our best possible combined way 24/7.

If anyone is feeling the slightest bit mentally afraid or physically ill then please do NOT infect anyone else with whatever you are thinking or feeling unless it is a healthy thought or feeling. A positive, informed and fearless combined attitude is exactly what it is going to take from ALL of us and not just our cleaning team so if u identify something that looks dirty or unhygienic or if you know that one of your clients are feeling or looking ill then it is your moral obligation and duty towards all the rest of us to advise that person to stay away from others and away from where we all work. Do NOT entertain negative, fear-driven conversations with people in our workspace that you know are counterproductive and please restrain yourselves from sending chain messages to others that will only promote the spread of fear-driven nonsense which will end up biting yourself and all of your work colleagues in the proverbial working backside!

We are all intelligent, healthy-minded fitness professionals and as such we know what we are dealing with and I will be driven by my own sense and research to make wise and informed decisions on your behalf and in order to keep our business operational no matter what comes our way in future. I will not stand by and do nothing, it’s not my leadership style. I work because my life and yours is dependent on my business staying open and I will survive no matter what.
