The increased team entry fee includes the normal entry fee of a standard entry package as well as an additional contribution towards the school.

By purchasing the entry from Hermanus High School, you will qualify for an income tax deduction.

What does this imply?

When purchasing this entry, a Section 18A Tax Certificate will be issued. As a company, the Section 18A certificate will allow you to deduct 28% of the total amount, but savings could be more if bought as a private entity (depending on personal tax bracket).

For example:

- Company purchases the team entry for R113 500 - Cape Epic receives R92 900 for a reserved entry.

- Hermanus High School receives R20 600 as a donation towards sponsoring school fees for a child.

- After tax deduction, the team entry will cost the company R81 720.
