2006 Suzuki KingQuad 700 Service at Overberg Suzuki

Recent project at Overberg Suzuki.

This ATV came in for a service, but it wasn’t starting. After some solid work from our team, it’s now running like new. Here’s what we did:

• Found a leaking intake valve and sorted the tappet clearance
• Recut valve seats, replaced valve stem seals, piston rings, gaskets, piston pin and circlips
• Honed the barrel, cleaned throttle body, sensors and injector
• Serviced the starter motor and cleaned all electrical plug points
• Replaced engine oil, oil filter, diff oil (front and rear)
• Checked spark plug and ignition coil, tested all lights and wiring
• Cleaned brakes, adjusted hand brake, replaced front pads
• Cleaned airbox, fitted new air filter, checked drive belt system
