It’s Carnaval Time: Celebrate 60 Years with Elim Home!

Elim Home is celebrating its 60th birthday from the 12th to the 15th of October! It’s a festivity you don’t want to miss!

Taking Care of Our Most Vulnerable Community

The non-profit organisation provides 24-hour residential care services for severely and profoundly intellectually and physically challenged children and adults.

With the grace of God, the home has persevered through numerous trials and tribulations over the years and is now thrilled to announce a three-day celebration itinerary.

Praise, Celebration & Worship with Elim Home

The festivities begin and end with praise and worship that hug the main event, a fantastic carnival celebration for all!

12 October 2023 - Praise

• Morning devotion at Palm Haven - 10:30
• March from Palm Haven to Elim Home - 11:00
• Motivational Speaker - 11:30

14 October 2023 - Celebration

Carnival - 09:30

• Stalls
• Rummage Sale
• Drum Majorettes
• Braai

15 October 2023 - Worship

• Morning Service at Elim Moravian Church - 10:00

Elim Home Legacy Project - Be Part of the Initiative

Elim Home is running a Legacy Project to coincide with the birthday celebrations. Your contribution towards the project can make a difference in the lives of the home’s residents.

Staff at the home are covering a wall panel with tiles, and each tile represents a donation from a sponsor.

There are three donation categories:

• Small - R60 to R100
• Medium - R100 to R1,000
• Large - R1,000+
